“Avoid animals behaving in unusual ways,” the county said in a Friday news release.
Two adults were attacked by the cat Tuesday near the intersection of East Crogan Street and Buford Drive, the county said. The Lawrenceville Police Department captured the cat and brought it to Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement. The cat tested positive Wednesday for the rabies virus, the county said.
