www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com Peachtree Corners is throwing a birthday bash to celebrate Paul Duke, considered the city’s founding father, from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Peachtree Corners Town Green, 5140 Town Center Blvd. Admission is free, but guests can help the city’s Arts Council raise money for a public art installation by participating in blackjack, roulette tables and a silent auction.
Everyone attending ‘Duke’s Speakeasy Bash’ can join the fun by wearing roaring ‘20s attire, listening to live music by Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, viewing silent movies on the big screen, playing Paul Duke Jeopardy, or competing in a costume contest or dance off.
