www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com There was a lot of hope for a new transit plan for Gwinnett with a lot of high hopes ridding on the vote for Marta yesterday. But the people have spoken and there will be no Marta in Gwinnett County for now. Officials have to go back to the drawing board. Gwinnett citizens came out to vote on Tuesday and that was a no for Marta. Some had concerns about crime, while others did not like the tax that would be imposed upon them. Then there were some who were in favor of transit, but not in favor of Marta. So we will have to wait and see what happens when the referendum comes around again.
