In 2012, she became a published co-author of “Socially Smart and Savvy.” As a Special Event Planner, she was known for her exuberant personality and can-do attitude. She worked with amazing clients such as Queen of Blues, Shemekia Copeland and many others helping to bring their visions to life. Finding inspiration in any event she produced, her execution and creativity helped to make her name known in the Bridal & Event industry. Sharon’s ability to take a client’s vision and turn it into a masterpiece put her in a position to earn numerous awards and recognitions from 2011 to 2014. She was recently awarded 2020 Daily Herald Business Ledger Influential Women in Business, 2020 Top 90 Women in Business Blog & Websites for Women Entrepreneurs & 2020, 2021 & 2022 List of Influential African American Business Women You Should Know On Linked.

While planning was her muse, she always found herself mentoring other small business owners to challenge themselves to DO and BE better. Understanding the struggles of female entrepreneurship, she decided to utilize her ability of planning events to create the I'm Possible Women's Empowerment Conference, launching February 2018 which then became the I'm Possible Women's Empowerment Collaborative, Inc. (IPWEC) April 2018.
