https://www.NoisePodcastNetwork.comLawrenceville leaders have adopted a $172 million budget that includes salary adjustments for all city employees as well as a new employee residency incentive and new positions in the police, human resources, public works and planning and development departments.
The budget, which goes into effect July 1, is 17% larger than last year’s budget for the city, a fact that Lawrenceville attributed to increased capital expenditures, salary and staffing increases and inflation-related cost increases, mostly for natural gas and fuel. At the same time, the city plans to keep its millage rate the same at 2.228 mills.
