Gwinnett County Approves Infrastructure and Public Safety Upgrades with Major Projects in Motion
Gwinnett County is moving forward with significant infrastructure improvements and public safety enhancements following the Board of Commissioners' approval of several projects. A $3.8 million overhaul of Lakeview Road will widen lanes and add sidewalks over Big Haynes Creek, while $1.5 million will be spent on upgrading traffic surveillance and crime investigation tools. Additionally, 40 Flock cameras will be installed for real-time license plate monitoring, and outdated radios will be replaced to improve communication for public safety personnel.
